Valentine's On A Budget

Quote of the Day: "Money can't buy your love cause it's overpriced"

Chocolate and flowers can prove to be predictable on Valentine's Day, hell even overrated.

Honestly my best advice can be to skip all of that this year and think outside the chocolate box.

Finding the perfect gift is super rare and hard especially if you are looking to show a loved one how much you care for each other, don't become intimidated by the expenses or risks.

Rent-a-Puppy:

Some animal shelters could let you "rent" dogs for a day. That could be tough but if you and your loved ones are animal-lovers then it could be the perfect date.

You also are showing love to an adorable dog who also is in need of love. Just check with your local shelter and determine the cost of the idea because you can be informed in what it may take.

Write A Love Letter:

Writing a letter is not old fashioned, it just stopped being used.

People may frown on this idea of not buying a letter but what is more better than one that comes from the heart?

Put your time into the letter, write it directly from your heart because your loved one could possibly tell just by how it starts.

This is just a savings tip but make note that this tip is more suited for steady relationships because it could come off as a bit creepy for someone you just met.

Break Out The Games and Keep It At Home:

Dust off the old board games or video games and you can end up having yourself a night of a lifetime.

Plan the ideas and make it happen with other friends who are couples or dating also. Everyone can save while doing this and could prepare a dinner at home for loved ones.

Try to play it cool though and do not make the whole night end up consisting of just games because you only have this day once a year.
