Superbowl Weekend Planning and Savings
Quote of the Day: "If saving money is wrong, I don't want to be right"
An upcoming Super Bowl weekend means a lot to many people across the world. The idea of two teams battling out for a title of who is the best in their division is one of the most expensive times of the year for those attending and those watching from home.
Now imagine the price of those NFL tickets? It really just makes you want to pass up on the chance of a lifetime. Not because you are cheap but the whole idea of trip and being in school can be rather risky than rewarding.
If you plan to watch from home, have yourself a Super Bowl viewing party, or going out to a favorite location then two of these tips along with you to make your life more organized while you cut a cost in what you may spend as you are viewing this year's showdown along with millions of fans.
Saving on Your Super Bowl Party:
You may find yourself being the host of a viewing party which means you have a huge task ranging from gathering foods to decorations. Choosing the proper party favorites is tough because you do not know what every person likes or even worse, who may prove to be a picky person.
So it would be smart for you to arrange a list of what people attending may want there. It's risky because they could basically write anything down that they'd prefer but that doesn't mean you rule them out completely since you have an idea of what your guests may want.
Most people I know plan ahead for the gathering so save some time to gather all you may need and shop wisely.
In my history of attending gatherings, I'd recommend choosing HEB before Walmart because the price matters and HEB offers sweet deals. Maybe if you care about the cost of decorations then test your luck at both locations. Other than that just make sure the price is right!
Attend Your Favorite Spot With Friends:
I don't think most of us will be in favor of watching a highly important game alone.
Make plans with friends and chose an affordable location to view the game at where they may offer deals on the food and drinks. (DRINK WISELY AND RESPONSIBLY)
Mostly it's best to view the game at a bar and grill location, even a sports bar is still great. Plenty of locations are bound to be packed that day because of the game day hype. So check if some locations let you reserve ahead of time or ask what specials they may plan to have.
God willing you have friends who don't skip on the bill or bring up a "remember that one time" so just keep your fingers crossed!
Signing up for email alerts could be useful since most companies will send information and coupons. When a location is set, just make sure to view their announcements or follow them on your favorite social media platform to stay on top of the information.
